A Prayer for Renewing

Gracious and Loving God

In these moments, make me aware of your Spirit's presence

Surrounding me with goodness

And renewing me within.


Help me to know that your love is always greater

Than any mistake or wrong that I have done,

And that your grace exceeds the scale

Of any harm done to me.


And though I might struggle

To embrace the riches of your forgiving love,

You do not invite me to act in my strength alone,

But through the gift and goodness of your gentle Spirit.
